About Fineline Kiosk Consulting

Fineline Kiosk Consulting enables self-service. We are kiosk experts, having developed programs from scratch with one of the biggest providers of prepaid content and e-services in the telecommunications industry. We have also managed one of the industry's most successful transactional kiosk deployments for the 3rd largest chain of convenience stores in North America.

Why is this important? Fineline believes if you've never run a kiosk program, you can't have the operational perspective to adequately plan one. Conversely, if you've never built a kiosk program, you won't be familiar enough with the development nuances to manage it effectively. Fineline brings you both sides of the coin.

Core competencies include:

  • Kiosk program development and deployment
  • Strategic planning
  • Project management
  • Category / P&L Management
  • Product marketing
  • Retail merchandising
  • Interactive (web-based) marketing
  • Retail experience
  • E-government experience

Principal

Brad Beranek is an alumnus of Tefisto Partners, a consulting firm based in Tempe, AZ, named to Intelecard Magazine's 2005 "10 Companies to Watch" list. As Chief Strategist, Kiosk & Stored Value, for Tefisto, Brad took a lead role in developing a kiosk initiative for North America's largest distributor of prepaid telecom products. Previously, Brad managed the Zaplink kiosk program with Circle K Stores, Inc, North America's third-largest convenience store chain (parent companies: Alimentation Couche-tard and ConocoPhillips), while also managing the Stored Value category. In 2003, Brad rebuilt the circlek.com Web site as Circle K's Director of Web Services.

Prior to ConocoPhillips/Circle K, Brad worked in product development, category management, and marketing capacities for retail, dotcom, and software companies.

Mr. Beranek, who holds an MBA from the University of Arizona, also has considerable public sector experience. For Governor Jane Dee Hull's Office for Excellence in Government, Brad served as a Senior Management Consultant to Arizona's Government Information Technology Agency (GITA). There, he worked with state agencies, IBM, Maricopa County, and the City of Phoenix to identify e-government applications for the citizenry that would leverage the state's technical infrastructure (portal: www.az.gov). His first-ever job as a budget-analyst for the Arizona State Legislature gave him firsthand insight into the funding, process, and customer service challenges faced by public agencies, many of which can be addressed today through kiosk-deployed e-government solutions.
